E-Commerce Category Specialist


The E-commerce Category Specialist will be responsible for managing the e-Commerce strategy for assigned categories to deliver the sales plan across all digital platforms. This includes developing, executing and analyzing the e-Commerce strategy for brands, to drive the online business; meet sales and new customers goals. Ensures a cohesive strategy for products and categories by setting the category priorities and initiatives.



E-Commerce Strategy

  • Accountable to achieve sales plans for a brand or category.
  • Partners with Merchandising team to develop priority calendar that act as a guide to the other marketing teams the category priorities.
  • Drive online sales and new customers goals by leveraging previously successful sales techniques, identifying innovative and new selling methods and plans which result in the e-Commerce strategy for the category.
  • React to business opportunities and challenges in order to maximize sales.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the buying behavior and demographics of the core QVC customer.
  • Maintain knowledge of competition to gain best practices and inspire new marketing techniques.
  • Lead and drive the e-Commerce strategy for the category of the website, events, New Media and Search
  • Analyze and recap by presenting the category sales and content online strategy in all relevant business meetings.
  • Manages content resources for video, photography and online assets




  • Degree in Economics, Marketing or equivalent
  • + 3 years of experience in e-commerce products categories
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & windows based systems
  • English: fluent

  • Ability to manage and lead large scale projects across multiple lines of the business
